The Beatles play two of their Bekay gigs this Friday and Saturday at the Aintree Institute.
This gives me the opportunity to show you one of my personal favorite snapshots taken during my pilgrimage to Liverpool in 1998. It is a picture of this building. At that time, I think either it was being used as a school building or there was one nearby and classes were being dismissed as we arrived. There are plenty of kids about. Take note of the older boys on the steps leading up to the door, grabbing a smoke before heading for the bus home. Are there any young rockers in the crowd? Undoubtedly. yes, im sure there will be people in the year 3000 or something that love the beatles. i mean, 50 years from now all the beatles will be dead but their music will NEVER die. thanks for the follow. :)
ReplyDeletereally? wow! thats so cool!!! i'm sorry, but im going to have to admit that i did not know that! ha ha. but i do know Paul played a Hofner bass, George played a Gretsch (i love Gretschs) and John played a Rickenbacker. of course they played other ones but those are the main ones.
